The beep books nothing.
Voicemail waits for the caller to do the work. JunkLine AI answers in your company's name, gives your prices and books the pickup.
Side by side.
Nights and weekends
Voicemail: A greeting and a beep.
JunkLine AI: On around the clock for the calls sent to it.
Your prices
Voicemail: None until you ring back.
JunkLine AI: Your own prices, said the way you wrote them, with the final price confirmed on site.
Booking
Voicemail: Nothing booked. The job waits on your return call.
JunkLine AI: The pickup or the estimate visit, booked into your arrival windows on your Google Calendar.
Cost model
Voicemail: Nothing to run. On Google Local Services Ads, where available, the voicemail is still a charged lead.
JunkLine AI: One monthly plan, priced to your company, with no meter running.
The same on every call
Voicemail: The same greeting, and the same silence after it.
JunkLine AI: The same prices, the same questions, the same read-back of the name and address.
What reaches you
Voicemail: A recording, when the caller leaves one.
JunkLine AI: Every new lead and every booking, by text and email.
Callers don't leave messages.
Fewer than 3% of callers who get pushed to voicemail leave a message. And the voicemail you leave when you ring back? A 2013 survey found only 33% of people listen to voicemail from business contacts, and 18% from unknown numbers.

On Google Local Services Ads, the voicemail is still a charged lead.
On Google Local Services Ads, where available, a voicemail is a valid, charged lead, and so is a missed call you return if you then speak with the customer or leave a voicemail. Leads outside your business hours are not credited.
As reported by PPC Land and Search Engine Roundtable from Google's August 2026 email (not yet on Google's help page), Google told Local Services advertisers that from 1 October 2026, missed calls during business hours are charged as valid leads if the caller stays on the line for more than 20 seconds, with a few exceptions. A missed call can cost twice: the job and the lead fee.
Where the calls went.
In a 2016 study of 85 businesses across 58 industries, monitored for 30 days, 6 in 10 calls went unattended.

Voicemail questions.
Is voicemail enough for a junk removal company?
Not for new jobs. Fewer than 3% of callers who get pushed to voicemail leave a message (Invoca platform data), and a caller who hangs up still has a job and no answer. JunkLine AI answers the call, gives your prices and books the pickup.
Is a voicemail a charged lead on Google Local Services Ads?
Yes. On Google Local Services Ads, where available, a voicemail is a valid, charged lead, and so is a missed call you return if you then speak with the customer or leave a voicemail. Leads outside your business hours are not credited.
Can JunkLine AI replace my voicemail without changing my number?
Yes. Keep your number and forward the calls you miss to JunkLine AI instead of voicemail. It answers in your company's name, gives your own prices and books the pickup or the estimate visit.
What if a caller hangs up before anyone answers?
A missed call gets a text back that invites the job, the place and a photo of what is going. The photo is an invitation only: the final price is confirmed on site.
